Location: Remote. You must live in Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador or Uruguay.Pay: CA$1,400 - CA$1,800 per month, based on experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mountain Time (Canada).
Contract: Full-time independent contractor, paid monthly in Canadian dollars.
About the role
Our CEO runs a growing moving company, a storage business and new projects at the same time and needs a main assistant who sees what is coming, follows up until things are done, and makes sure nothing the CEO committed to slips.
This is not a passive admin role. You will own the CEO's inbox, calendar and follow-ups, and you will hold the team to what the CEO asked for.

Last Stop Moving is a fast-growing moving and storage company in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We do local and long-distance moves and portable storage, with a crew of movers and drivers that grows every season. Our office runs on Slack, Google Workspace, SmartMoving and many AI tools, and we are building a remote team in South America.
What you will do
- Own the CEO's inbox: triage it every day, draft replies in the CEO's voice, remove the unimportant emails, and keep a follow-up list at zero without being asked.
- Own the CEO's calendar: book, confirm and protect their time, and stop double-bookings and late starts.
- Track every commitment and deadline (signatures, insurance, vendor and legal documents) and chase until done, escalating by WhatsApp or phone when it is urgent.
- Follow up with the team on the tasks the CEO assigns, report status, and flag what is stuck.
- Send a morning plan and an end-of-day report every day.
- Prepare meetings: agenda, notes, action items and follow-up.
- Research vendors, quotes and options, and come back with a recommendation, not just a list.
- Keep our playbooks and SOPs up to date, and use AI tools to move faster.
You are a fit if
- 2+ years as an executive assistant to a founder, CEO or business owner, ideally in a small, fast-moving business.
- You anticipate. You have done the next three things before anyone asks.
- Excellent written English: you can write the email the CEO would have written.
- Expert in Google Workspace, comfortable with Slack and task boards, and you use ChatGPT or Claude every day. QuickBooks basics are a plus.
- Discreet with confidential information.
This is NOT for you if
- You wait to be told what to do.
- Your follow-up ends at 'I sent one email and they didn't reply'.
- You want the same fixed list of tasks every day.
Setup you need: A quiet place to work, a fast connection, and backup internet and power. This is your only job during your shift.
How we hire
